Privacy Notice

We collect as little as possible, use it only for the stated purpose, and delete it on time.

In short: we keep only what you send in a form, only for that purpose, for at most 2 years; never your location, and no tracking cookies.

What do we collect?

We collect only what you choose to send through a form on this website — the volunteer, blood donation, contact or support forms. Browsing without sending a form gives us no personal data about you.

  • Name, mobile number and district (required)
  • Email (optional)
  • Your message — contact and support forms
  • Blood group and month of last donation — blood donation form only
  • Your consent, the purpose statement you agreed to, and the time

What do we use it for?

Each form's data is used only for the purpose written beside its consent box. We never sell it, never use it for advertising and never share it outside the Organisation.

  • I consent to my name, phone, email and district being shared with the Samithi in my district only to contact me about seva. It is deleted after 2 years and never shared with anyone else.
  • I consent to these details (including blood group) being used only to contact me for a blood donation camp or a patient's urgent need. They are deleted after 2 years and never made public.
  • I consent to my details being used only to reply to this message. They are deleted after 1 year.

How long do we keep it?

Every entry is stored with an expiry date and deleted after it.

  • Volunteer registrations: 2 years
  • Blood donor registrations: 2 years
  • Contact and support messages: 1 year

Do you store my location?

No. With your permission, 'Near me' works out the nearest Samithis inside your own browser. Your location is never sent to our server and never stored.

Do you use cookies or tracking?

No. This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and runs no third-party ad scripts. To prevent abuse, when you send a form a one-way hash of your IP address is held in memory for about 10 minutes, and a one-way hash of your browser's user-agent is stored with the entry. The raw IP address and user-agent are never stored.

Where a page embeds outside content such as a map or a calendar, that service works under its own policy.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may at any time ask to access, correct or erase your data, and withdraw your consent. Once consent is withdrawn, the data is no longer used.

To make a request, use the Contact & Support form and give the same mobile number you used before, so we can find your entry.

Grievance officer

A grievance officer is to be designated by the State office. Until then, send any grievance through the Contact & Support form; it is recorded for the state centre at Shantivan, Tulsi Nagar, Bhopal 462003. This section will be updated once the officer is designated.

Children's data

The forms on this website are meant for adults. Parents or guardians should make any Bal Vikas enquiry.
