Blood cannot be manufactured; only one person can give it to another.
Why
Why donate blood?
Because in an accident, childbirth, surgery or serious illness, a life can depend on blood arriving in time, and only people can give it. In Madhya Pradesh, Samithis arrange blood donation directly for patients when the need arises.
Before any donation, the blood bank's doctor checks your eligibility (age, weight, haemoglobin, last donation and so on). Registering here only records your willingness; the doctor makes the final decision.

Give your name, mobile, district and blood group. You may be contacted when there is a camp in your district or a patient urgently needs blood. Your blood group is never made public.
