Trained Sevadal who respond fast with rescue, relief and rehabilitation, and help communities prepare.
Overview
What is Disaster management and relief?
Sri Sathya Sai Disaster Management trains a core group of the Organisation's active workers in each district to respond rapidly when disaster strikes and carry out rescue, relief and rehabilitation effectively.
Disaster-awareness training is also given in schools, colleges, villages and institutions so communities learn to keep themselves safe. Relief covers food, safe drinking water, shelter, clothes, blankets and utensils, along with grief counselling for affected families.
Training
Trained youth become first responders when calamity strikes.
Relief
Food, water, shelter, sanitation and first-aid kits.
Rehabilitation
Restoring educational facilities and community needs such as cleaning streets and ponds.
